We are pleased to announce that the third edition of data and documentation for ESS Round 9 was released on Thursday 10 December 2020.
We are pleased to announce that the third edition of data and documentation for ESS Round 9 was released on Thursday 10 December 2020. In this third edition, data and documentation for an additional 2 countries are included: Denmark and Iceland.
Edition 3.0 includes data from the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom.

We are pleased to announce that the second edition of data and documentation for ESS Round 9 was released on Monday 15 June 2020.
We are pleased to announce that the second edition of data and documentation for ESS Round 9 was released on Monday 15 June 2020. In this second edition, data and documentation for an additional 8 countries are included: Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain and Sweden.
Edition 2.0 includes data from the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
The release also includes data from the Interviewer's questionnaire, MTMM data, Contact form data and Interview time data for Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom.

A new edition (1.2) of data for ESS round 9 was published on the 30th of January 2020.

The first edition of data from contact forms for ESS round 9 is now available for download.

Edition 1.0 includes data for Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czechia, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland and United Kingdom.

A new edition (1.1) of data for ESS round 9 was published on the 11th of November 2019.
A new edition (1.1) of data for ESS round 9 was published on the 11th of November 2019.
The new release is due to corrections in variable AGEA (Age of respondent, calculated).

Edition 1.0 includes data from the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czechia, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
The release also includes data from the Interviewer's questionnaire, and test data (MTMM) for Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czechia, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
ESS round 9 includes rotating modules on the topics: "Justice and Fairness" and "Timing of life" (also fielded in ESS round 3) .
